Ibrido di Gallinella d'acqua (Gallinula chloropus, Linnaeus 1758) × Folaga (Fulica atra, Linnaeus 1758) in una zona umida urbana del Friuli Venezia Giulia.

In 2012 and 2015, one hybrid of Common Moorhen Gallinula chloropus and Eurasian Coot Fulica atra was observed in river Bujon at village of Porcia (Pordenone, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, North-eastern Italy). The hybrid showed characteristics and size of Common Moorhen (body plumage, white undertail), most obvious feature was the white frontal shield and bill of Folaga. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
