Abstract
- The article reports on funding awards by the U.S. Department of Energy for research and development for advanced nuclear technologies to companies including X Energy LLC, NuScale Power, and BWXT Nuclear Energy, Inc. Areas of development include dynamic natural convection, modeling and optimization of flow and heat transfer in reactor components, and reactor design developments.
