Abstract
- One of the criteria of analysis during the process of on-site evaluation carried out by the National Institute of Studies and Research Educais-Anisio Teixeira Legislation and Documents (INEP) with the Institutions of Higher Education for accreditation or recognition of course is in the scientific production of the teachers. However, it is not yet possible to quantify annually the scientific productions of researchers who use the Curriculum Lattes platform. The main objective of this study was to present an information flow model on the scientific production of researchers using the Lattes Curriculum platform in order to make quantitative mapping of Brazilian scientific production possible. Books, theses, dissertations and scientific articles were used for data collection. The quantitative basis of the research was extracted from the Sucupira platform, in the period between 2013 and 2014, in which 44,479 and 44,635 registered journals were found, respectively. The variation between the years adds up to 156 (0.36%). The flow study proposes that educational institutions and / or publishers become responsible for supplying Lattes platform the moment they receive the numerical sequence of the ISSN or ISBN. In this way, it would be possible to quantify the scientific production of Brazilian researchers using the Lattes platform and, consequently, to allow knowledge management by research institutions, for example, through publication of specific notice for certain areas of knowledge.
