Abstract

Reports on the case of bilateral hyperkeratotic palmar dermatitis experienced by a varnish-maker in Great Britain. Rapid development of dermatitis caused by frequent contact of water-based varnish; Performance of patch testing to determine the reactivity of the skin to benzisothiazolin-3 contained in the varnish; Application of Oilatum Plus bath additive to treat the skin disease.
