Advances in medical research have led to the development of clinical and radiological examinations capable of assessing musculoskeletal tissues and structures in ever greater depth. Despite this progress, we are still not able to identify with precision the structural origin of musculoskeletal pain in most patients. Nevertheless, diverse therapeutic approaches have proven to be effective in treating musculoskeletal pain, such as manual therapy, exercise and education. The aim of this article is to investigate the elements of uncertainty present in daily clinical practice and discuss how best to deal with them. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
