Abstract

Pluralism of values and choices in political, social, economical and mainly in ethical levels is a major issue which critically bring about the key question of conciliation or compromise. What is conciliation or compromise ? How can this key notion is used to solve the issue of the deficiency of ethical marks and the lack of unanimity on the moral ground in a Sub-Saharian Africa facing globalization ? Compromise is expedient whenever dialogue with moral, cultural, religious, social values and behaviours are needed, whenever intercourses between individual and community, tradition and modernity are required. However compromise remains epistemologically fragile and is the best understood through the study of a concrete and actual social situation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
