Abstract

The article reports the findings of the team of psychologist Alexandrina Moisuc of University of Clermont Auvergne in France and colleagues on the personality profile of individuals who are likely to intervene to a bad behavior or violators of standards of moral decency. Also cited are the bitter complainer theory and well-adjusted leader theory, the bystander effect or the people's motivation to intervene, and the importance of the study in promoting a more civilized society.
