Abstract

The main pier pile caps of the channel bridge for river-sea direct ships of the Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge are constructed with bottom steel boxed cofferdam construction. The meteorological hydrological conditions of the bridge site are complex, pile caps is big volume, a variety of embedded devices, anticorrosive demand is high, we adopted the bottom boxes and combined with the anti-collision structure. The casing and the bottom plate are subdivided, and the whole assembly of the box is finished and transported to the site and the floating crane is hoisted. The platform adopts the underwater concrete cover, and the weight of the bottom concrete, the box side mould and the bottom plate are all borne by the fine steel.
