An Insurance Agency Valuation Model.

This article discusses the valuation of independent insurance agencies and presents a spreadsheet model used for that purpose. The authors consider the reasons and purposes for agency valuation, review previous literature concerning agency valuations, and discuss the discounted cash flow method of valuation.
