Abstract

The article focuses on research into gene expression trajectories of stem cells of zebrafish embryos during embryogenesis. It states that single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data was analyzed using a simulated diffusion-based computational method with modules of co-expressed genes identified and connected over development time. It comments that a gene expression analysis found intermediate cells could switch specification from one cellular rate to another.
