Abstract

Quantum public key encryption system provides information confidentiality using quantum mechanics. This paper presents a quantum public key cryptosystem (<italic>Q</italic><italic>P</italic><italic>K</italic><italic>C</italic>) based on the Bell states. By <italic>H</italic><italic>o</italic><italic>l</italic><italic>e</italic><italic>v</italic><italic>o</italic>’<italic>s</italic> theorem, the presented scheme provides the security of the secret key using one-wayness during the <italic>QPKC</italic>. While the <italic>QPKC</italic> scheme is information theoretic security under chosen plaintext attack (<italic>C</italic><italic>P</italic><italic>A</italic>). Finally some important features of presented <italic>QPKC</italic> scheme can be compared with other <italic>QPKC</italic> scheme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
