A FEIRA LIVRE DE CORUMBÁ/MS NA FRONTEIRA BRASIL-BOLÍVIA.

The purpose of this article is to question the Bolivian's participation at the street market in the town Corumbá-MS by the view of historical construction of this street market. For this, there were realized bibliography surveys and then there were realized interviews using semi-structured instructions. There also occurred informal talks with people that live a long time in the town to raise historical information of the street market, using the "snowball" technique. There also were realized a census of the street market reckoning all the stallholders by market stall (reckoning based on empirical observation). From the organization of the collected information is possible to state that Bolivians have a historical participation at the street market of the town Corumbá-MS. However, it is frequently questioned this situation as stallholder by the State (by the figure of the municipal government) from pressures of local storekeeper associations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
