Volunteers: From Solidarity to Integration.

The article examines how the movement of migration resistance relates to and is articulated with the emergent movement of volunteers in Germany by revisiting the concept of autonomy of migration. It explores the transformation of the volunteer movement, which helped bring refugees across the border to Germany or Austria, since 2015. It also discusses the German asylum politics in relation to the process of refugee migration in the previous years.
