Abstract
- The article discusses the reasons behind the firing of James Marcus as editor of "Harper's Magazine." Marcus claims that he was fired by Harper's publisher John R. MacArthur over his principled stand on the magazine's March cover story titled "The Other Whisper Network: How Twitter feminism is bad for women" by Katie Roiphe, which Marcus claims as mediocre. However, Harper's vice president for public relations Giulia Melucci said that Marcus firing has little to do with Roiphe's story.
