Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perception of Generation Y in relation to their inclusion in the workplace, the sample is 100 students of the course of administration of a university in the northwestern region of Rio Grande do Sul state belonging to Generation Y, which has between 20 and 34 years. Methodologically this study is an applied research, descriptive and quantitative. The results showed that the three main factors that influence the academic workplace belonging to Generation Y are opportunities for growth and development with 31% compensation according to their performance with 20% and greater autonomy related to the time and place of work with 18%.
