Abstract: A hitherto healthy 27-year-old man presented with protracted nocturnal back pain and hypoesthesia L5/S1 on the right. The magnetic resonance imaging performed showed a mass intramedullary in the height of the thorax segments 9-12. After complete tumor resection, the clinic remained unchanged, but the patient was symptom-free three months postoperatively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
