Abstract

The article focuses on the study conducted by Ricardo Sousa and colleagues which shows that surgeons who are carriers of Staphylococcus aureus are not correlated with periprosthetic joint infection rates in patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty (THA) or total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
