Abstract: The article discusses several financial portfolios for harnessing higher interest rates having probabilities of rising further. Topics discussed include need of caution in fixed-income strategy due to rate outlook, bond funds unable to work for increasing income as they are rarely held to maturity, and higher credit ratings earned by most tax-exempt issuers and investment-grade corporate borrowers.
