Abstract

The underground reservoir technology using goaf area for water resources storage and recycling has provided a new way for green mining in western water-shortage mining areas in China. However,the application of this technology needs to satisfy three necessary conditions,which are adequate water resources,sufficient reservoir capacity and connected water supply channel respectively. Combined with the practice of underground reservoir in Shendong mining area,the adaptability evaluation method of groundwater reservoir based on the height of water conducted fissure zone is studied. The results show that the “channel” condition of the water flowing fractured zone connected with the water supply source is the key to the adaptability of the underground reservoir in the water supply and water storage capacity of sufficient conditions. Using a method for predicting the height of water flowing fractured zone based on the key layer to judge the specific mining conditions of water conducting fractured zone’s development height,the underground reservoir has the adaptability when the water supply source (aquifer) is connected,otherwise,it is difficult to converge water to the underground mined out area,so the amount of water resources that can be used in the underground reservoir will be difficult to guarantee. The adaptability evaluation method of underground reservoir based on the height of water flowing fractured zone is verified by underground reservoir project in Shendong mining area and is used as the guidance of the Lijiahao Coal Mine adaptability evaluation of underground reservoir and construction site selection.
