There was something very frightening about George Bush as he entered the room from which his third press conference would be held. Certainly, this must have been the view of Bush as he looked out at the group of the most cowardly people in the world, the American Press Corps. Maybe that is how Bush wishes for this singular moment in his history as chief executive of the United States to be perceived and recorded. There was no question that Bush would be handled gently, for that is all that this Press Corps knows.
