The manipulation or falsification of results is one of the most reprehensible practices, as it disseminates false or incorrect data. The results showed that 100% of the analyzed studies had scientific misconduct and that it has significantly increased worldwide getting difficult to identify. The most common reasons for data falsification were the quest for recognition and competition in the academic community. Therefore, a responsible conduct and ethical of societies, scientific committees, and journal editors become essential in the credibility of the results found in scientific research.
