Abstract

The fatigue test of oil and gas pipes based on conventional fatigue test methods is inefficient and high energy consumption. In order to carry out the scientific experiment and teaching of the fatigue of oil and gas pipes, a set of experimental platform for oil and gas pipe resonance bending fatigue is developed based on the resonance principle. It mainly includes oil and gas pipe specimen, transmission system, support system, safety protection system and measurement and control system. The design, processing, installation and testing of the experimental platform are completed, and the results show that the fatigue of oil and gas pipes can be tested effectively by the experimental platform. The experimental platform has been used for experimental teaching, and the organic combination of theory and experiment teaching is realized. Thus, students can deeply understand the resonance principle and the process of fatigue damage, so it improves their experimental ability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
