Abstract
- The article reports on global burden of disease 2016 study on the contribution of neonatal jaundice to global child mortality. Topics covered include the estimated number of late-preterm and term neonates affected by extreme hyperbilirubinemia annually, the prevailing United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals until 2030, and the main drivers of bilirubin-induced mortality.
