Abstract

LAMBDA algorithm has the disadvantages of large deviation and large searching range for float solution of ambiguity in the process of GPS integer ambiguity resolution. This paper improved LAMBDA algorithm by using Tikhonov regularization. The singular value decomposition of the coefficient matrix of unknown parameters is performed for wide lane double difference observation equation and L1 double difference observation equation. The covariance matrix is used to replace the covariance matrix of the classical LAMBDA algorithm for searching integer ambiguity. The algorithm improves the precision of the ambiguity of floating point solution, and reduces the searching range of the ambiguity. In order to verify the correctness of the algorithm, experimental analysis was carried out on the measured GPS baseline data. The results show that the improved LAMBDA algorithm can improve the precision of the floating point solution, the fixed success rate of the improved LAMBDA algorithm can reach 100%, and the integer solution of the ambiguity can be fixed without initialization time, which realizes the centimeter level positioning rapidly.
