Abstract
- The article reports how libraries in the U.S. has observed unprecedented success in the voting booth in 2017 on different issue like operating funds to maintain or expand library programs, staffing, services, and collections. It mentions that ballot questions concerning libraries related to updating, renovating, or building new library facilities also enjoyed a high rate of success, with 28 of 39 measures passing.
