Abstract

The language used by female authors is unfortunately masculine. It results from the fact that everything in our literary history took shape in an atmosphere, where masculine thought prevailed and women's language was rejected. Our female writers restrict neither their body, nor their language when writing. By writing in a brand new language, they do not let a pre-defined theory prevent the creativity of their own language. They flourish in the language they create, fly in the setting of the words they create, and let fly the literary product of their fiction along with their readers. The aim of this research, where we will take a microscopic look at the "women's writing", created under the influence of translation with selected examples from various female writers and researchers, is to reveal the transformational power of translation. As Filiz Bingölçe stated, even though it belongs to a group, slang is multilingual. It takes its share of all the languages it comes into contact. With examples from the Women's Dictionary of Slang, we will make an effort to demonstrate that women created a special language among themselves. (...) Once, Chinese women created a language called Nushu, of which men did not even understand a word, by creating a completely different Chinese alphabet out of zigzag lines at a time when encoded speech was punishable by death. (...) A special language set up against the merciless male-dominant culture of China, in which women were used only as sexual commodities and were despised back in the Confucian era (Sema Kaygusuz, Kafa Magazine, p.8).
