Abstract: The article describes the case of an older woman patient who suffered argyria after several years of taking ionic silver solutions to treat several ailments. Topics mentioned include the increase in serum concentration of silver, the elevation of random urine silver/creatinine ratio, and some complications of acute exposure to silver.
