Abstract

The article offers information on a study concerning the prevalence of mobilized colistin resistance (mcr-1)-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae in bloodstream infections in China. Topics discussed include determination of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of MCR-1 positive isolates using the broth microdilution method; use of filter-mating method for conjugation experiments Escherichia coli J53 as the recipient strain; and mentions that whole-genome sequencing (WGS) was performed.
