Abstract
- The article focuses on implications for the criminal justice system and the problematic prosecution of an Asian American police officer in the case the man was convicted of manslaughter, which carries a fifteen year maximum penalty. It mentions the officer was convicted of, criminally negligent homicide, require a gross deviation from the standard of care. It also mentions trigger of his pistol, there would still be no basis for homicide liability.
