Abstract

Studies the mechanisms of peroxynitrite-induced [Ca2+]i increase in single neuronal cell using Fura-2 microfluorometric technique. Removal of calcium ions from the bath or using calcium channel antagonist; Inhibition of the [Ca2+]i increase induced by ONOO-; Effect of the sulfhydryl reductive agent.
