Abstract: The article offers information on research about conducting ultraviolet and x-ray observations by Swift and the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array of the electromagnetic counterpart called EM170817 of the binary neutron star merger and gravitational waves called GW170817. Other information is presented about gravitational wave astrophysics.
