Abstract
- An essay is presented on the zombie characterstics of the original work of Richard Wagner, an opera titled "Parsifal," focusing on its themes of passivity, acceptance, and Schopenhauerian hopelessness. It discusses several stage productions that highlighted the zombie characteristics of the Wagner's "Parsifal," as well as its post-apocalyptic connotations, exploring the horros of environmental devastation and immortality relating to the original opera.
