Art for Public Places.

Focuses on the development of a course called Art for Public Places at the Altoona Area High School in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Promotion of a sense of community among students in the class and ownership in their school environment; Studies on famous public art projects in order to learn how public artworks contribute to a sense of national or community identity; Theme of the murals that range from a montage of school scenes to images of students from different eras passing in the halls.
