In recent years, more and more studies confirm that high salt intake may not only lead to hypertensive, but also affect bone metabolism.Renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system(RAAS) plays an important role in regulation of water and salt metabolism, as well as in regulation of bone metabolism.This review focuses on the effects of high salt-intake and RAAS on bone metabolism and its mechanism, in order to provide theoretical basis for the correlation between water and salt metabolism and bone metabolism.
