Abstract: This section offers news briefs featured in various Chinese publications. A 2016 cyber-poll showed that creating a nationwide healthcare service network was the topic of most concern among the Chinese. Quantum scientist Pan Jianwei has been named one of the 10 people who mattered in 2017 by science journal "Nature."
