Abstract
- A case study of 36 Chronic heart failure (CHF) patients is presented. It is mentioned that in China CHF is a leading cause of death. The article discusses the benefits of forest bathing such as therapeutic effect on patients with hypertension and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It notes that forest bathing can lead to the decline in endothelin-1 (ET-1) and inhibits the activities of renin which are the major causes of the progression of CHF.
