- The article presents a letter from the journals outgoing editor, discussing the history of the journal from "Journal of the Gypsy Lore Society" to "Romani Studies". Topics discussed include the first issue of the journal containing a survey article on Turkish Romanies, and a paper on the "Annals of the Gypsies in England" by Henry Crofton.
