Abstract
- The article provides a brief overview of the politics of Queensland's provincial government from January to June 2017. Topics include the province's high level of unemployment, wide-scale layoffs from mineral companies such as Gladstone and Glencore, the cost of energy, renewable energy, and a proposal for a new coal-powered electric plant.
