Abstract
- We investigated the cellular uptake phenomena of half anti CD3 antibody–CdSe/ZnS quantum dot–conjugate into the live cell by using the confocal laser scanning microscopy. The anti CD3 antibody was efficiently reduced when tris 2–carboxyethyl phosphine hydrochloride was used as a reductant. The molecular weight of obtained half antibody was confirmed by the non–reduction SDS page, and the optimum concentration was 5 mM for obtaining the half antibody. Finally, the confocal laser scanning microscopy image indicates that the CdSe/ZnS quantum dot–conjugate was taken up into the live cell spontaneously by connecting the reduced half antibody around the CdSe/ZnS quantum dot.
