The article offers information on several myths for choosing a major subject for high school. Topics discussed include views of Douglas A. Webber, an associate professor of economics at Temple University on the earnings related to academic field; databases for early earnings of graduates of institutions within several states including Arkansas, Colorado, and Minnesota; and popularity of Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education among the students.
