Synthesis of highly luminescent CsPb2Br5 nanoplatelets and their application for light-emitting diodes.

Abstract
- Although all-inorganic perovskite CsPbBr 3 perovskites quantum dots (QDs) have garnered enormous interest in light emitting diodes, nonetheless limited attention has been paid to the perovskite-related CsPb 2 Br 5 nanoplatelets . Herein, we prepared perovskite-related CsPb 2 Br 5 nanoplatelets (NPLs) by a facile injection method. The synthesised CsPb 2 Br 5 NPLs showed single tetragonal crystalline phase with a uniform square shape and a high photoluminescence (PL) emission around 520 nm (PL quantum yield (QY) > 85%). In addition, we have demonstrated the fabrication of highly efficient CsPb 2 Br 5 NPLs-based green light emitting diodes with the highest luminance of 800 cd/m 2 and a relative low turn-on voltage of 3.0 V.
