NEMECKÉ PREKLADY ZO SLOVENSKEJ LITERATÚRY 2000 - 2016: DEUTSCHE ÜBERSETZUNGEN AUS DER SLOWAKISCHEN LITERATUR 2000 - 2016.

The paper is focused on the Bibliography of Slovak literature in German translation 2000 - 2016, which follows the Bibliography of Publications 1900 - 1998 published in 1999 and currently available on the Digital Library Catalogue of Slovak National Library (DIKDA). Folk literature and children's and juvenile literature contained in the previous edition have been excluded in the new edition. The Bibliography of Slovak literature in German translation 2000 - 2016 contains a list of 27 anthologies of monographs, journals and magazines, as well as 102 translated books from Slovak authors. Among others, the Bibliography points to a generation change related to particular writers and translators, as well as to an increase of concerned publishers as distinct from the past. The author emphasizes the need for strenghtening the publicity of German translations in German, Austrian and Swiss print and electronic media. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
