Abstract
- The problem of stress state evaluation is really actual for the underground structures been exploited for a long time. Stress and deformation monitoring give opportunity for hazard prevention and planning operation mode of the underground facility. One of the most common methods of deformation control is convergence measurement, but transformation of measured data into stress state of underground structures is quite difficult. A technique for stress state evaluation of underground structures on the base of the analysis of structure's convergences measured in points of its inner outline is proposed. Convergence measurement gives data for determination of initial stresses in rock mass included ones induced by technological factors. Such factors as excavation method, construction technology, creep and changing of concrete properties may be also taking into account. Places of direct stress measurements for data correction may be pointed out by the technique proposed. Residual life of the underground structure and ultimate convergence corresponding to dangerous state are estimated as well. Stress state determination of the mine support is presented as an example of the technique implementation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
