Abstract

Background: The article describes the selected aspects of the air temperature and some other microclimate parameters changes caused by heat emission from people staying inside some types of large-volume buildings. There are shown exemplary results of the research conducted inside unheated or low-heated sacral buildings (including tall) and inside residential apartment buildings (some features are reversed). It is based on author's research conducted in Warsaw University of Technology and Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Methods: Measurements were performed using termohygrometers and thermal imaging cameras in aim to testing some microclimate parameters such as air temperature and temperature distribution on walls surfaces. Tested objects were sacral buildings located in the town of Płock and residential apartment buildings located in the Masovian voivodeship in Poland. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
