Abstract
- The imaginary part of the inter-quark potential of moving heavy quarkonia is investigated in the context of dual super-gravity in an AdS background, deformed by a dilaton which induces the gauge field condensate in the dual gauge theory. A quark–anti-quark pair is analyzed, moving transverse and parallel to the plasma wind, in turn. It is shown that in both cases increased D-instanton density tends to increase the inter-distance and decrease the imaginary potential, opposite to the effect of the pair’s velocity. Moreover, it is found that the D-instanton density has stronger effects in the parallel case than the transverse. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
