Abstract
- The article offers news briefs related to mining industry in Asia in 2017. The Russian-based gold producer PISC Polyus has launched the beginning of commissioning of its Natalka mine in Magadan. Freeport-McMoRan and the Indonesian government have reached an understanding on a framework to support the long-term investment plans of PT Freeport Indonesia in Papua.
