Abstract
- The article focuses on the paediatric anaesthesia for low-resource settings among global health development community. It mentions the establishment of the Global Initiative for Emergency and Essential Surgical Care (GIEESC) by the World Health Organization (WHO) to strengthen delivery of anaesthesia and surgical care in low-income countries. It also mentions that high-quality perioperative care and outcomes are linked to the provision of safe anaesthesia.
