- The article offers information on arts in Detroit, Michigan. Topics discussed include recognition of power of public art by private business community; popping up of murals in high profile locations downtown with masterpieces; and contribution of black artists Sydney G. James and Tylonn Sawyer for arts in Detoit. It also mention about the challenges faced by the artists such as lack of art collectors from the commercial art galleries. It also mention about the works of Waleed Johnson.
