Abstract

The article offers information on the impact of assisted reproductive technology in treatment of women with a high body mass index (BMI). Topics discussed include women with a high BMI face greater risks procedurally and with pregnancy outcomes; rate of pregnanacy has been lower in womens with high BMI; and increase in rates of pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes lead to induction of labour.
