The Formation of the Commonwealth Division, 1950–1951.

A reprint of the article "The Formation of the Commonwealth Division, 1950-1951," by Jeffrey Grey, which first appeared in the no. 1 ( January 1987) volume of this journal, is presented. It discusses the creation of the Commonwealth Division of the United Nations Forces on 28 July 1951, during the Korean War, after roughly a year of negotiation among British Commonwealth nations of Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and India.
